Types of corrections
- Minor corrections — small errors such as a spelling mistake, wrong date, or minor factual slip. These are corrected directly in the article without a separate note.
- Major corrections — errors that affect the meaning of the story, such as a wrong quote, incorrect figures, or a misidentified person or party. These are corrected in the article, along with a short editor’s note at the bottom stating what was changed and when.
Updates vs. corrections
Political stories often develop over time — for example, an early report on an election result or a government announcement may be updated as more information comes in. This is different from a correction. When we update a developing story, we mention that it has been updated, along with the date and time.
How to report an error
If you spot something that looks incorrect in one of our articles, please email khabaridost.com@gmail.com with:

- What you believe is incorrect
- A source or reference, if you have one

Our commitment
We would rather publish fewer errors than fast, unverified ones — but when a mistake does slip through, transparency matters more to us than pretending it never happened.
