5) 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (optional)

6) 1/4 cup of chopped green onion (optional)



HOW TO MAKE MAW SOUP?

1) Rinse the fish maw in cold water and soak for 30 minutes.

2) In a pot or wok, heat the oil over medium heat and stir fry the fish maw until slightly browned.

3) Add the water or chicken broth and bring to a boil.

4) Add the salt and allow the soup to simmer for 10-15 minutes.

5) If you want a thicker soup, add the cornstarch and continue to cook for another minute or two.

6) Garnish with green onion and serve hot. Enjoy!
